Oregon Forests Forever

Do you work in the woods? Share your stories to help The Oregonian and OPB “better understand the forces that are shaping the modern timber industry and the effects of those changes on the state, communities and timber workers.” bit.ly/2tuyGmwAn open letter from OFIC to Oregonians who manage, protect, hunt, produce products, recreate in and love our forests, and to so many others whose lives are touched by this extraordinary sector:

We need your help.

Just a few days ago, The Oregonian and OPB announced a partnership to “better understand the forces that are shaping the modern timber industry and the effects of those changes on the state, communities and timber workers.”

Please participate enthusiastically. Submit your stories, photos and videos to The Oregonian and OPB at this email address: [email protected]

After you do - please forward us a copy of what you submit or have already submitted to: [email protected]

If The Oregonian and OPB don’t tell your stories accurately – we will.

See attached for details. Thank you for your help.
